The OASE Vitronic 36-Watt UV Clarifier is a powerful, standalone UVC unit designed to effectively eliminate single-celled algae, the primary cause of "green water" in ponds. By exposing pond water to high-intensity ultraviolet light, the Vitronic clumps algae cells together, allowing your pond filter to remove them easily. The result is a healthy, clear aquatic environment for your fish and plants.
The Vitronic series is engineered for both versatility and ease of use. It can be installed as a standalone unit in any new or existing pond system or mounted directly onto OASE BioSmart 5000-10000 flow-through filters for a seamless, modular filtration setup.

Installation & Maintenance Tip: For the best results, UVC bulbs should be replaced annually, preferably in the spring before the algae season begins. While the bulb may still glow after a year, its "clarifying" UV output diminishes significantly over time.
